TPS61178
TPS61178x uses fixed frequency peak current mode control with integrated slope compensation. At light load, TPS61178 enters automatic PFM mode, while TPS611781 is in forced PWM mode.
The TPS61178x can isolate the output from the input side during shutdown. Once the output is short-circuited, it enters hiccup mode to reduce thermal stress, and can automatically recover after the short-circuit is released. In addition, TPS61178x also has OVP and thermal protection to avoid malfunction.
